Zinifrica Moving Image is a Nigerian film and television production company creating African stories for African and global audiences.
We develop and produce films, television shows, and original content built around strong stories, real people, and African experiences. Our goal is to create work that is entertaining, meaningful, and able to reach audiences beyond Nigeria.

Our journey has grown through our own productions and partnerships with established companies in the industry. We have worked on projects for MultiChoice, collaborated on co-productions with 209ine and Abazee Productions, and have built strong technical and production relationships within the industry.

Our debut feature film, A Burial for Kulu Yandaki, is currently in post-production. The film is a satirical dark comedy set in Jos, Plateau State, and was supported by Sony Middle East & Africa, with Abazee Productions providing equipment support for the production. It marks an important step for Zinifrica as we move from short-form filmmaking into feature film production.

Our short films have also received recognition locally and internationally. Evil Spirit, Get Out! won Best Short Film at the Annual Mischief Film Festival, Ibadan Indie Film Festival, and Lagos Fringe Festival in 2024, as well as Best Director at An Evening of Shorts. Read My Body won the Viewer’s Choice Award at Indie View Festival Lagos and Best Short Film at Bragi Film Festival Norway. La Pomme: A Day with Asmodeus won Best Short Film at the Black and White Film Festival 2024.

Today, Zinifrica is developing a growing slate of feature films, television series, and original projects. We want to build stories that come from Africa but connect with people everywhere.
Our long-term goal is to build a strong and sustainable African content company that owns original stories, develops new talent, works with local and international partners, and creates content for cinema, television, streaming platforms, and other markets.

We are not only making films. We are building an African content company with a growing track record, strong partnerships, original stories, and room to grow.
